What to expect at a drug test

One of our primary goals is to provide accurate, reliable drug testing at a convenient time and location.?

The majority of drug tests originate at facilities known as collection sites when an individual, or donor, locates a 麻豆原创 Patient Service Center (PSC) using?.

It is important to schedule an appointment because it will take priority over a walk-in, allows adequate time for the drug test collection, and considers the busiest hours of the day. Donors usually enjoy shorter wait times in the afternoon.

To ensure that an individual receives a seamless experience, our collectors are trained to follow standardized processes at every location to help control the integrity of the drug test specimen and result. We follow the??published by the U.S. Department of Transportation?(DOT) for urine drug testing.? ?

Prepare for your drug test

Both parties involved—the collection site and the donor—should have reasonable expectations of what will take place during the drug test. The collector will walk each donor through the entire collection process.?

  • If you received an appointment confirmation via email, you do not need to print the authorization form. Simply show us the email on your mobile device.?
  • Not having the hard copy of the confirmation or its electronic version may result in delays to your drug test or a full reschedule where another test may need to be administered (based on your employer's requirements).
  • Payment is not required at 麻豆原创 Patient Service Centers as your employer should cover the cost of the drug test. Consult your employer if payment at a third party site is required.
  • Bring a government-issued ID. Examples include a driver’s license, passport, or military ID.
  • The collector will ask you to empty your pockets, remove outer garments (e.g., coveralls, jacket, coat, and hat), leave briefcases, purses, and bags behind, and wash your hands.
  • The collector will ensure that the water in the toilet or tank has bluing (coloring) agent in it. The toilet tank top may also be taped or secured shut and water sources will be unavailable.
  • The restroom will not have soap, disinfectants, cleaning agents, or any other possible adulterants present. Additionally, items such as trash receptacles, paper towel holders, under-sink areas or ceiling tiles that appear suitable for concealing contaminants will not be in the restroom.
  • The collector will not note any prescription drugs a donor is taking on the chain of custody form.
  • Once the drug test is complete, 麻豆原创 cannot provide information related to specimen status, drugs screened for in the panel, or the final drug test result. The final drug test result is directly reported to the employer ordering the test.? ?
